Domino Award Applications Are Now Open
Toward 100 Ideas, One Community, and a Chain of Good About to Begin

The world is not short of ideas for doing good. It is short of people who feel ready to start them. What stands in the way is rarely ability. It is doubt: the idea feels too big, they feel too inexperienced, or the timing never seems right.
Topplers is here to change that, and today applications open for the Domino Award. At a time when so many people feel the problems around us are too big to touch, we think backing the first step matters more than ever.
The Award
Each winner receives seed funding of $1,000 to $5,000 and a year of coaching from trained volunteer coaches. That is the first domino in the chain of actions that get set in motion with Topplers help. Next, each winner's idea goes to the Topplers Community, with specific ways to help, and members tip it forward with their time, a skill, an introduction or funding.

The first round closes January 10, 2027, and will be the first wave of awards, with winners announced as they are selected. After that, Topplers will keep announcing new openings for applications with the goal of rolling out 100 awards over the next two to three years.

Any one of them might take a single action that makes a huge difference. All along we're tracking how one thing leads to another so people can see the impact they are having. The dominoes are set up — let's knock them over!” said Herb Morreale, founder and Board Chair of Topplers.

You don't have to apply to be part of this. Here is how to help:
- Know someone with an idea? Tell them “I thought of you” and send this post. It is a small act that may lead somewhere neither of you expects.
- Know a group that should hear about this? We are reaching out to nonprofit organizations, community groups and universities with programs that help students make a positive social impact. If you can introduce us to one, please share this post or write to hello@topplers.org.
