If you have an idea that would make things better for people but haven't acted on it or gotten far, this is for you. No credentials or business plan required. It takes some courage, and that's what we back.

Common questions
Can anyone apply?
Yes, if this describes you:
- You have an idea that would make things better for people, communities, or causes that need it.
- Your idea is still in its earliest stages: either not yet started, or started but not yet grown as hoped.
- You’d be the one to make it happen, on your own or with a small group (one person leads).
- You can put seed funding and the support of a coach and the Topplers Community to good use. You’ll tell us how you’d use the money.
- You live anywhere in the world. You don’t need to be a registered organization.
- You’re any age. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian will need to be involved as your application moves forward.
Are there any restrictions?
Yes. This award backs people acting out of genuine conviction, not personal gain. The Domino Award isn't for:
- Ideas whose purpose is to promote a political position, candidate, or religion.
- Established organizations or projects that already have their own staff and budget.
- Requests to cover personal expenses, such as tuition, medical bills, or debt.
Do I need a business plan or a registered organization?
No.
What if I’ve already started?
That's fine, as long as you're still in the early stages and could use the push. You'll tell us where things stand in the application.
Can I apply from outside the United States?
Yes. Applications are in English for now.
Can a group apply?
Yes, with one person as the lead.
Should I apply early?
You can. We announce winners as they're selected, so applying before the deadline is fine.
What if I miss the application deadline?
No worries. We will be working in waves as we scale up to meet our goal of 100 awards provided over the next 2-3 years. Shortly after each wave, we'll announce when applications open for the next one. Join the Topplers Community and you'll hear about it first.
What happens after I apply?
You'll get a copy of your answers by email. We reach out to people whose ideas move forward, and we can't promise a personal reply to every applicant.
I don't want to apply myself, but I know someone who would be interested. What should I do next?
