I met Herb at the Computer Science Senior Project Showcase on May 1, 2012. The event was held in the Engineering Center at CU-Boulder and I also met a lot of CU engineering seniors at the event, who are ready to go out and make a difference in the world. I already knew about Herb's sponsorship of the Domino Award at CU-Boulder, having gone to a toppling of some 4,000 dominoes several years ago in the award's infancy. But I had never met Herb, so I approached him to introduce myself. As the director of communications for the College of Engineering, I am proud to say we featured an article about Herb and his Domino Theory in this year's alumni magazine. I hope the exposure it gets in the magazine leads to many more great things, inspired by one computer science grad reaching out to see what can happen!
